Visual Call Manager (VCM) version 3.2 is released
January 13, 2004 -- Visual Call Manager version 3.2 is now compatible with Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager (BCM) 3.5.
One of the new features added to v3.2 is the ability to see when an extension is offline or "Not in Service". This is particularly useful for companies using Nortel's i2050 softphone. For a sales person using the i2050 softphone on the road, as soon as the i2050 connects to the BCM, the VCM Client interface is updated indicating the user has connected and is in service.
Current customers that have purchased VCM in the past and are out of warranty may upgrade to version 3.2 by purchasing the 12 month Assurance Plan.
