NewsNew Server Platform Lays Path for future ApplicationsJan. 20, 2008; -ConverTec Communication Server (CCS) is the name of the new .NET based server platform that will be used to drive all new applications being developed by ConverTec. "There are many benefits to this architecture" explains Doug Moffat, President of ConverTec. Using a single server, multiple applications can be deployed across an enterprise minimizing complexity and hardware requirements. A new remote management client has been developed to provide access to CCS anywhere on the network. "Simplicity, reliability and flexibility were all goals when designing CCS". CRM Integrator and CALL Navigator are two new applications being launched on the new CCS platform. Console.NET has been ported over to CCS and will continue to be Nortel's choice for a PC based Console on the Business Communications Manager (BCM) and Norstar phone systems.
