CRM Integrator for Outlook Released

CRM Integrator for Outlook seamlessly integrates
Nortel's Business Communications Manager (BCM) and
Norstar phone systems to Microsoft Outlook.

Integrator is the first new application in a family of
advanced telephony applications being launched on the
new ConverTec Communication Server (CCS) platform.
Much of a persons time these days is spent sending
and receiving email along with making and receiving
phone calls. It makes sense then to combine these
two tasks and allow people the ability to do both tasks
with one familiar application. Add intelligence to
improve productivity and you have CRM Integrator for
Outlook.
"What companies are looking for today is a way to
integrate applications their employees use on a daily
basis in order to simplify tasks, improve productivity
and be able to deliver a higher quality of customer
service" explains Doug Moffat, President of ConverTec
Inc. Using CRM Integrator, a person can see who's
calling them, automatically pop the customer contact
record and answer their phone, all within Outlook.
Additional features provided include; logging of all
personal calls including calls that went unanswered,
setting your presence so others in the office know you
status along with the ability to release a call and
enable/disable do not disturb on your phone.
Additional CRM products such as ACT!, Goldmine and
Microsoft CRM are being added to the CRM Integrator
family later this year.
