NewsKeyboard control added to Console.NETDecember 5, 2006 -- Keyboard control added to Console.NET v3.0.4 In response to customer requests to add keyboard control to Console.NET, ConverTec is pleased to announce this functionality has been added to version 3.0.4. The benefit of keyboard control is enhanced call handling capabilities which allows Attendants to answer and distribute calls without having to taking their hands off the keyboard. "What's unique about the approach we took with the development of keyboard control is that unlike the traditional method of assigning a single key to a single task, Console.NET uses only two keyboard keys to accomplish many of the common controls such as answer, transfer, hold, hang-up", explained Mr. Ron Jones, Support Manager. Customers who purchased Console.NET and are within the 60 day warranty period, or have a valid Assurance Plan, may upgrade to v3.0.4 at no cost.
