ConverTec Wins CRM Excellence Award

July 19, 2001 -- ConverTec Inc., a leading developer of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software today announced that it has received TMC's CRM Excellence Award for it's CALL Link for Norstar CRM product. See July's issue of Customer Inter@ction SolutionsTM Magazine.

The editors of Customer Inter@ction Solutions recently challenged companies that provide CRM products and services to show how they are leading the pack in developing software and programs that measurably make customers’ lives easier and their interaction with companies more pleasant. They asked submitting companies to provide them with real case studies demonstrating qualifiable results that clients using the product experienced as a result of the implementation. In choosing the winners, the editors looked for results that clearly benefited customers.

ConverTec’s submission was the case study of a major taxi service customer in the Toronto area using ConverTec’s CALL Link for Norstar product in which,

Client’s average transaction time dropped 30% to 13 seconds per call after installation. They experienced a 95% reduction in the abandoned calls that were in queue, and a 30% increase in calls processed ……… all with no additional staff.”
