Console.NET Server/Client Combined (1 computer) Hardware/Software  Requirements

NOTE: Although this configuration is possible for Console.NET operation, it is not recommended for users with high call volume (over 300 calls per hour).  A dedicated Console.NET Web/PBX Server installation is recommended in this case.

  • Pentium 4, 1.8 GHz or equivalent CPU
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 2 GB available on Hard Drive
  • 64Meg (or better) Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) or on board video card
  • SVGA Monitor with 1024x768 Resolution or higher (16-bit high colour minimum required)
  • CD-ROM Drive
  • *Windows Operating System - Windows 2000 Server/Prof. SP4, 2000 Advanced Server.  2003 Server, XP Prof.
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) - latest version, requires original Windows Operating System CDROM
  • BCM LAN CTE Client or Norstar CTE
  • NIC (Network Interface Card), TCP/IP
  • Local Administrative access to PC (Administrator Password Required)
  • Access to the BCM published IP address
  • Access to the Internet
  • PC firewall must be disabled or configured for specific port access

  • 1 GB available on Hard Drive
  • Windows Operating System - Windows 2000 Server/Prof. SP4, 2000 Advanced Server.  2003 Server, XP Prof. 
  • CD-ROM Drive
  • BCM LAN CTE Client or Norstar CTE
  • Access to the BCM published IP address (BCM 3.5 only)
  • NIC (Network Interface Card), TCP/IP
  • Local Administrative access to PC (Administrator Password Required)
  • Access to the BCM published IP address
  • Access to the Internet
  • PC firewall must be disabled or configured for specific port access

 

Console.NET Client PC Hardware / Software Requirements:
  • Pentium 4, 1GHz CPU or equivalent
  • 256 MB RAM
  • Any operating system running Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or better
  • SVGA Monitor with 1024x768 Resolution or higher (16-bit high colour)
  • 64Meg (or better) Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) or on board video card
  • NIC (Network Interface Card) TCP/IP
  • Connectivity to Console.NET Web Server via LAN/WAN or  Internet
  • PC firewall & Popup Killers (blockers) must be disabled
Nortel Phone System Requirements:
  • Norstar

    • MICS/CICS 1.1 or newer

    • Caller ID Line Cards for inbound caller information (optional)

    • One CTA 100

  • BCM
    • 1 LAN CTE license
    • software version BCM50 /3.5 /3.6/3.7
Local Area Network Requirements:
  • TCP/IP protocol
Telephone Subscription Services:
  • Caller ID Number service from your local telephone company (This is required for inbound database search)

* Windows critical updates are recommended but may not have been available for testing at the date of software release.

** Console.NET remote PBX Server (for monitoring remote Norstar &and/or BCM systems) has the same requirements as the dedicated server, however, Internet Information Services (IIS) and VGA minimums may be omitted.  128MB of memory must be added to the Console.NET Server for each additional networked Norstar and BCM system.
